Creators Set Goals
Ever wonder why some people cacn’t even achieve an inch of what they dream of becoming? Blame it on pure dreaming. I know, that’s what I’ve done for the greater part of twenty years. I have had a lack of setting goals; making plans for achieving my dreams.
Setting goals is a very significant part of success and creating creations. It’s deciding before you set out to create exactly what you want to create in the first place.
People who set goals literally create a map of their target achievements in life, marking where they should begin, where to pause, where to delve a bit deeper, and where and when to stop. Once this map is created, it allows the map drawer to check where he is in the scheme of things and whether or not he is making some achievements that will take him closer to his goals, or whether or not he is heading in the correct direction.
By setting goals, creators know how they are doing and what they should be doing to achieve their targets or dreams in life. They know if they can relax or if they have to double their efforts when they are falling short of what is expected of them.
Goal setting means a person is proactive in dealing with challenges that may affect his creation. Being proactive means one is able to outline possible difficulties that may occur as well as the solutions to those difficulties. By doing this, a person is not easily scared or defeated when challenges occur because he has already prepared for them. He knows they can happen and he has prepared a solution or strategy when that time comes.
Setting goals will enable creators to track their progress in whatever creation they have set out to create. Goals help them become more confident in themselves and more motivated to achieve their plans. Creators don’t procrastinate – they are too passionate about, and desire too much to see their creation exist. Procrastination is a thing of the past.
However, goal setting is not enough, as this should be accompanied by love, faith, and self-discipline. A creator may have a blueprint of what he desires to create, but if he does not have these necessary tools to carry out the plan, then most likely nothing will come out of it.
When a creator loves the idea of what will be created, the creator works voraciously to bring it into existence. Coupled with faith that the thing to be created can and will be created and self-discipline to make it happen. The creation has every chance of coming into existence – living.
To be successful in goal setting, the goals that creators set should be realistic and based on true principles. Being too ambitious in setting up goals can make the goals unrealistic and difficult to achieve. However, creators do not also set goals that are too low because this might discourage their vision instead of achieving it.
It is also necessary that the creator setting the blueprint for his creation should also include a time frame within which the goal will be achieved. This way, he is able to determine if he has to fast track his strategies or to slow down a bit. Goal setting will also help a creator check if he is performing within his plans or if he is doing things towards the achievement of his plans.
Once you have created something, even a little of what you hoped to create, then you should always give yourself a pat in the back to keep you motivated. But do not be too complacent with any little achievement, as this may cause you to backslide.
Setting goals can be used in any aspect of one’s life – from one’s personal or family life, to his career and finances. Goal setting can be as simple as setting a target weight when you wish to lose pounds or something big, like earning your first million.
When setting goals, it is always important to set standards that would suit your present situation, your capabilities, and other factors that may influence the achievement of your goal.

How To Determine What You Want to Create in Your Life
What do you really want to create?
Most people don’t discover what they want to create until it’s time to die – and that’s a shame.
Most people spend the best years of their lives watching television or doing things they dislike. An author described humanity by saying, “Most people die at twenty and are buried at eighty.” Are you one of the living zombies?
What do you really want to create?
Some people struggle in answering this question. When asked what they want or what their goals in life are, many are unsure. They dillydally in their decision, hardly giving any thought about what they want. They live their life on auto-pilot – never realizing they have the power to create whatever they desire.
They are people without definite goals, or plans, or ideas and are letting time pass them by. Are you one of these people?
If you are undecided about what you want to create in your life, do not worry. There are many ways of discovering your purpose in life.
To discover what you want to create, try looking deep into your heart. Oftentimes, people are ruled by logic. People live by what they think they should be or by what others would like them to be.
The discovery process is the perfect time to listen to your heart. What your heart desires comes from the whispers of your authentic self. Your authentic self is the real you; the creator.
Listen to your heart to be able to listen to your authentic self. What your heart says usually feels right. What your heart desires is what you usually love. And what you love represents your passion, and most often your passion is what you want to create. Anything done with passion is like play where the task is accomplished without hesitation. You pour out your very best and feel no pressure or resistance. You create the creation you are passionate about.
You will totally enjoy creating things that are your passion. Setbacks, difficulties, and obstacles will arise and make it more challenging, but should not deter you from pursuing your goals.
Naturally, there may be barriers that may prevent you from reaching your goal, but your heart’s desire will find ways to overcome these barriers so that you may ultimately create what you want to create.
Remember this: the universe supports people who are pursuing their passion and those who are pursuing their destiny. The earth was created by a creator.
However, this does not mean that you don’t use your head. People are born with both the mind and heart. Your duty is to live your best life and be in harmony with your mind and heart.
The poet Rumi wisely said, “Live completely in the head and you cannot feel the breath and rhythm of life. Live completely in the heart and you may find yourself acting like a love-struck fool with poor judgment and discipline. It’s all a fine balance – the head and heart must forge a lifetime partnership if one wants to live a beautiful life.”
Listen to your inner voice. Your authentic self communicates with you and guides you via an inner voice. They are those gentle nudges that urge you to act and follow a certain path. Your role then is to listen attentively.
Often times, we listen to what others say and allow them to run our lives. Parents often do this to their children. “We come from a family of doctors, so my son must also be a doctor.” How often do we hear this from parents who have good intentions for their children?
Parents unconsciously block the true expression of their child’s real self and calling. Friends and critics will discourage you and point out the impossibility of your dream. Before heeding their advice, evaluate the accomplishments of the critics. Did they achieve theirs dreams? Do they dream big at all?
Remember, it is your destiny that is in line, not theirs. It doesn’t mean, though, that you will not listen to what other people say. Hear them out just the same. But the final decision should be yours.
There is only thing to remember: Every person, to live truly and greatly, must define how he wants to live and what his brightest life will look like. Listen to your instincts and follow your heart’s desire. You will never go wrong. Set out to create – and do so: create creations!
Make a Choice, a Promise, a Contract
Today I’d like to explain why I chose to write the eternal moment of NOW yesterday. There is a reason and if you haven’t figured it out yet I’d like to explain.
On the right column of this article there is a sentence that says, “Some believe they are powerless to control what happens in their lives, but there are a select few called Creators who powerfully create the lives they desire.” You see those who believe that they have no control over their lives believe that because they don’t understand the true principles that I am going to be teaching on CreatorsCreate.com
Let me prove it. Right now I want you to giggle. Yep, just let off a little jitter a little giggle. Was that there a minute ago? Really now, did that giggle exist before you had read the following words? No, it didn’t until the moment you created it, and you created it in the eternal moment of NOW.
I know you probably thinking that I am over simplifying all this, but the truth is that Every great creator has principles and practices that they employ to create the life they desire to create. They may not have pigeon holed, or earmarked what they do or have analyzed what they do with as much scrutiny as this I will on this blog, but nevertheless they do know how and they do whatever it takes to bring into existence the creations that they have created, and right NOW are working tirelessly to bring into existence many more beautiful creations.
They have practiced the skills necessary to create; they have disciplined themselves and make appropriate and powerful choices that make them masters of creativity. They create the lives they desire to create.
They don’t go around reacting to every stimulus as if their freedom of choice has been removed from them. They don’t blame others for failures or mistakes. They simply ask the question, “What is it that I desire to create?” And then they set out to create it. They are creators.
During World War II in the Nazi concentration camp of Auschwitz a man named Viktor Frankl made some very important observations. In this horrible death camp where he spent over three years and tragically lost his wife, Viktor Frankl discovered a powerful secret about man. In the helpless and distressed lives of his fellow prisoners Victor Frankl found the greatness of man. He found that there was something powerful in man.
It is ironic that he found the greatness of mankind in a place famous for cruelty and evil. A place where one people set out to exterminate another by the most inhumane atrocities known to man. He found the single most valuable freedom that man possess and can never be taken away from him without his consent: free will.
Victor Frankl wrote:
“We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms-to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.
And there were always choices to make. Every day, every hour, offered the opportunity to make a decision, a decision which determined whether you would or would not submit to, those powers which threatened to rob you of your very self, your inner freedom; which determined whether or not you would become the plaything of circumstance, renouncing freedom and dignity to become molded into the form of the typical inmate.”
Viktor Frankl found the greatest glory of mankind; in fact the greatest endowment of mankind is man’s ability to choose; man’s free will. He goes on to clarify this idea:
“In the final analysis it becomes clear that the sort of person the prisoner became was the result of an inner decision, and not the result of camp influences alone. Fundamentally, therefore, any man can, even under such circumstances, decide what shall become of him-mentally and spiritually.”
It is this very freedom of choice that allows each of us the ability, and even the freedom to create what we will. We all have the freedom to choose, and it is with that choice where we can choose to create the life we desire to create. We can choose to be creators.
![]() Today, I want you to write a contract with yourself.Sit down with a piece of paper and write out a promise to yourself. Write that today you make a choice to be the creator of your life. That you refuse to let others, and other factors be in control of your life. Today you are the Captain of your life. Today you take control and you are a CREATOR!Write it, sign it. Done. |

You Are Your Own Creation
First Things First
The first thing I want to do is define the word “Create.” Who better to do that then Webster himself.

Main Entry: 1cre·ate |
To bring into existence. That’s it. Pretty simple really. The act of creation is to bring into existence that which was not there before. Let me explain. One day I was surfing the Internet and came across a personal web page of some internationally renowned speaker. I have searched for that same site since and cannot find it. I’m sorry that I don’t have more specific information to give you.On the site he had some downloadable snippets of some of his speeches. I downloaded and listened to many that day, but one caught my particular attention. It went something like this:(I paraphrase because I don’t have the actual)
“Have you ever seen a dog give birth to a cat? Have you ever seen an elephant give birth to a parakeet?
“God created the Heavens and the Earth and everything that in them are. And He created man in His own image. We are created in Gods image. God is a creator. We are created in His image. We are creators.”
That was pretty profound. We are all creators. Creators of what? Creators of our own lives. In fact what I am about to say I want you to never forget – YOU CANNOT NOT CREATE!
Stop and think about it. Everything you do is a creation. Everything!
With that in mind think about it. YOU CANNOT NOT CREATE! Everything you do is to bring into existence something that was not there before. Take it to its rudimentary form – the next breath you take did not exist until you created it. The thought that you are thinking did not exist until you brought it into existence. When you really think about it, everything that you do is to create.
That being the case then understand this next truth. You are the creator of your life. Believe it or not, you have been creating you from the first breath you drew as a baby. Every experience you have had since that first breath has been yours and only yours to do with as you wished. Nobody forced you to act, or react, or think the way you do. Indeed, you have had free will since that very first breath.
You are where you are, doing what you do, and thinking what you think, and being what you are because you created it that way. Whether you are happy or unhappy, rich or poor, fat or thin, successful or unsuccessful, you made it that way.
![]() Your assignment today is to do a simple exercise. Walk outside and yell at the top of your lungs, “Hello world, I’m (say your name) and I’m here to create the greatest day I’ve ever had!” Then go out and do it. At the end of the day get out a piece of paper, a journal, anything and write about what you created. How did it feel? What was different about it? Did you notice anything new? |
Literally, you are your own creator.

Creative Creators Create Creations Creatively!
Welcome to CreatorsCreate.com
This post is the first of what will be a major creation. Throughout the next weeks, months, and years I will explore the many facits of creation: what it is, how to do it, who can do it, and why. I will delve into many powerful principles that will teach you how to realize your own potential to be a creator.
There are many in this world who believe they are not in control of their lives. They believe that circumstances, that the environment, the government, or their surroundings are in control of their lives. Few understand that they have the power to create what they desire to create – these few, called “Creators” are what we will study and learn about on these pages. Creators indeed create creations.
There is power in creation. I will strive to demonstrate where that power comes from, how it is nurtured and how to increase it. I will show you how to harness it to your greatest usage. Once understood and harnessed correctly you can use it to create powerful creations.
What is it that creators create? Why that’s simple – Creations! It sounds trite, but I hope you will soon see that it is wonderful! Creators Create Creations!
In these articles we will learn that the creations that creators create are created from the substance which all great creations are created from. There may be creativity involved, but you will come to find that creativity is not all that necessary. You will soon see that it really is quite easy. Anybody can be a creator – in fact most everybody is.
Once again, welcome. I hope that these next years are full of many splendid creations.
Creative Creators Create Creative Creations Creatively! Now wasn’t that creative?
Like I said I have done quite a bit of reading, I recently I read the book called Action! Nothing Happens Until Something Moves by Robert Ringer. And that’s just the point – nothing, absolutely nothing happens until something moves. If nothing, creation can only occur when something moves. That said, at the end of each of my posts, I’m going to try and give you something to do. It’s YOUR MOVE, so get moving. Start creating! |
To your Creations,
Michael Claridge
